Big Day Out events across Australia and New Zealand are set to be made that little bit more exciting with the help of V energy.

V is a primary sponsor of the event in both countries and always brings something new to the party.

Last year the New Zealand team introduced the flying fox, a hugely popular activity which went from behind the main stage all the way down to the field at Mt Smart stadium.

Big Day Out goers who missed out last year should definitely give it a go this year as it is returning again to give people a chance to see the Big Day Out from a whole other point of view.

In Australia the concert enthusiasts will be wowed with all the new cool stuff V is bringing them.

Once again the Green Room (Pictured) is back, however it comes with a kick this year with the introduction of the V Energy Power Wall. This is an innovative technology that lets punters capture all their festival fun via a touch screen and inbuilt HD camera. By adding their mobile number to the V Energy Power Wall, they will be able to receive a Facebook link to the photos of them and their mates.

Also brand new to the Australia is, V Energy Club in a Can. This is ultimately a giant can that can fit four people in it. When people in it start dancing it generates energy which gets the music and light levels up. The more dancing the higher the audio and light levels, so with prizes for the highest levels achieved, the V Energy Club in a Can is set to inspire dance offs around the country.

The Big Day Out kicks off its tour this Friday with the Auckland concert, then it heads to Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Its headline act in Australia is Kayne West and in New Zealand they have rockers Soundgarden, check out www.bigdayout.com for more details
