V Isokinetic Leaps into the New Zealand Market!
18 Aug 2010
V Isokinetic, the deliciously refreshing and energising new drink from Frucor, has taken New Zealand by storm!
Online blogs from around the world, Facebook posts and even the Campbell Live show are talking about the seemingly death defying advertising for the product, showing three men bounding from building to building using ladders!
Is it fake? Is it real? These seem to be the questions brought up every time the team behind ‘V’ launches a new advertising campaign.
This one is as real as it gets! This is a legitimate sport called Pomparkour, derived from French Firefighters (Sapuer Pompier) who used ladders with a hook on the end, to help them scale buildings. In the 1900s it was developed into a sport, and then in 2010 it was discovered by V Isokinetic.
Over just a four week period there were over 500,000 hits on the V Isokinetic Laddersport clip on You Tube, and Frucor tracking results show the commercial is the third most enjoyed TVC on record in NZ!
